I had a blog with blogger before I decided to transfer my blog to wordpress but all of my categories transferred from the other blog is there anyway to delete them and only keep the ones I made on this website (through wordpress)

1. To edit or delete a category assigned to a post (whether it’s a draft or has already been published), go to Dashboard → Posts → All Posts in your dashboard, hover over the title and click the Edit link to edit. To delete the post click the Trash link.

2. To edit/delete categories in your dashboard go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories
