CContact Page

  1. Hey guys. I'm an football blogger and was wondering how you add a contact me page to your site

    like this

  2. I think it shouldn't work. I am wondering how it has been added? May be CSS upgrade?

  3. Contact pages are theme dependant. The theme designer had to have created it when they designed the theme for it to be in there.

Honest answer though. I get a couple hundred spams every day through mine. It's not worth it.

  4. Right thanks mate.

Mind telling me which theme? I don't mind spam.

  5. I can't believe that anyone on a forum that spammers haunt would say "I don't mind spam".
The answer to your question is: Blix is one theme that has a contact page.

  6. Cheers dude :)

I'll set up a seperate email accout and will be able to tell the spam apart from the real thing.

  7. I'm glad I could help you. It's a good idea to start another email account IMO. I have a "throw-away" free email account for each of my blogs and I keep my primary one for "trusted contacts" only. BTW dude I'm definately a "chick". ;)

  8. right "blushes" I knew that.

oh and one more thing still can't figure out how to add the contact page!

  9. Create a blank Page at Dashboard -> Write -> Write Page but, before you save it, expand the Page Templates block along the right hand side of your browser window. You'll see different selections that you can make. Pick the Contact one and then click on Publish.

    Hope this helps,

  10. Once you get this set up is there a way to send the emails to another address besides the one in your WP settings?

  11. Not with the setup we have here. I believe the theme is hard coded to use the admin email address.

  12. Right thanks a lot

  13. What is the Page Templates block? I am creating a new page but I don't see any sort of thing on the right hand side that says "Page Templates."

  14. Are you sure you're looking at Dashboard -> Write -> Page and not Dashboard -> Write -> Post? I see the tab right under Page Parent and above Page Slug.
