change background and hover color for submenu
-
I have the custom upgrade and I’m trying to change the background and hover color for the submenu under “Mountain Activities”. Looking at the original CSS, I thought that I needed to use #sub-menu as the ID, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I tried applying the same rule that I used in another menu to change the hover color, but it doesn’t seem to like that either. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you for your help!!!

Hi, I see you are using the Responsive theme. Here is the CSS for the hover text and background color for the submenu items. You can change one, or both as you desire. If you change only one, then delete the unneeded declaration.
.menu li li a:hover { background: #F5F5F5 !important; color: #444444; }

On using CSS used on another theme, CSS is theme specific and typically the CSS selectors used for different themes will be different.

Thank you! I think that was probably the one combination I didn’t try!
I am getting closer and closer to being on the upside of my CSS learning curve. :)
I think that soon my website will be just the way I envisioned it. I really appreciate your help!
