Change Background Color of Submenu/Dropdowns

    I’ve hit a brick wall with this one.

    I’m trying to change the background color of the drop down items that appear when you hover over ‘Portfolio’ in the menu. The color is currently teal, and when you hover over one of the three child page titles, they turn a darker teal. This teal is default to the theme, Blissful, and does not match my color scheme in the slightest. I’ve searched and searched, but every snippet of code I try doesn’t seem to work.

    Any idea how to target this?

    The blog I need help with is paisleyavocado.com.

    Does studying the Blissful Blog stylesheet help you find the right selector?

    Ooo, very helpful. At least I think it is. Looking at code is like trying to read Russian, but I think I might be able to pick out what I need.

    Thank you very much!

    I reviewed http://paisleyavocado.com/ and I found that you were able to change the background and background hover color for main menu submenu items in the Blissful Blog theme using this custom CSS:

    .main-navigation ul li ul li a {
    	text-align: center;
    	background:#fff;
    	width:95px;
    	padding:2px 15px
    }
    .main-navigation ul li ul li a:hover {
    	background-color: #eaeea4;
    	color:#fff
    }

    Nice work!

    Also, I love the domain name :)

    Thank you! And yes, I was even able to find a few extra things to change, like the height, width and justification of the dropdown items.
