    In Academica I can’t find where to show just summaries in the blog roll (latest news). is that possible? It shows each complete post newest on top of oldest. Any way for it to just show summaries, where they can click on it to go to the post?

    Also, in the blogroll the post title is formatted as a link and the font is very small. Is there a way to change the formatting of only the titles in blog roll (not all links)?

    The blog I need help with is eornetwork.wordpress.com.

    Using Excerpts Is that it?

    And the css…

    .posts h2{
    font-size: 16px;
    }

    Right now it’s at 12px. This should work.

    Hope it helps

    Not all themes support the excerpt feature, but you can manually add read more tags to your posts in the post editor as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

    Hi,
    thanks! The excerpts wasn’t the one I needed by it led me to the More tag which is perfect!

    the css for changing the size of the post link on the blog roll doesn’t work. go to http://eornetwork.wordpress.com/latest-news/. See the title next to the photo? It’s a small link. Anyway to just make these links larger? Seems the only way to change the size of them is to make the headings larger, which is undesirable. Do you have another idea? Thanks!

    @lehua1010, add the following and adjust the font size as you desire for “Latest News”.

    .widget h3, .wf-active .widget h3 {
    font-size: 120%;
    }

    Hi,
    I may not be explaining myself correctly. I said blogroll and this is incorrect. I mean the page where the posts show up in order. If you look at the latest news page http://eornetwork.wordpress.com/latest-news/ which shows all posts, the title of each post is really small. That is the one I want to change, not the in the latest news widget. Is there a way to change those? Thanks for your help!

    Ah, when you said blogroll, that is one of the names of a links widget, and the closest thing I could find to a blogroll widget was the “latest new” posts widget in the sidebar.

    Add the following and adjust as desired.

    .wf-active .posts .page h2, .wf-active .posts .post h2 {
        font-size: 150%;
    }

    Grrrrr! Well this fixed the posts page but it also changed the size of the post titles in the latest news widget and made them too large. Anyway to separate them? The widget titles are actually larger than the titles on the post pages!

    While we are at it, is there a way to make the the featured photo on the posts larger?

    Wow, I don’t believe they did that. That column on the main page has exactly the same selectors and parent selectors as the page itself. The following targets the page specifically so the “latest news” section on the main page isn’t affected.

    .blog .wf-active .posts .page h2, .blog .wf-active .posts .post h2 {
    font-size: 150%;
    }

    Nope, didn’t do it. Everything went back to original. And the other was sooo close. Any other tweaks?

    The Firefox Firebug web developer add-on let me down. I went directly into your CSS and changed it to the below and it is working:

    .blog .posts .page h2, .blog .posts .post h2 {
        font-size: 150%;
    }
