Change color of follow by email button

    I have the Lifestyle theme and changed the theme color to teal. One of many reasons I chose the theme is the ease with which I could change the colors without having to do it by digging around in CSS. The only thing that doesn’t show as teal is is the subscribe by email button. It’s still the light blue that came with the theme. I think I need to fix it in the CSS and have no idea how to do it. Please advise. It’s driving me nuts!

    The blog I need help with is

    The site linked to you username, , is wearing React. What is the URL of the site you are talking about please?

    oops! Sorry… I also have I forgot to switch back when I logged in.

    I just took it off of private for you to view. I’ve been experimenting with content to figure out how the theme works, so it is clearly not ready for public viewing yet! I checked the button for search sites not to index it so I’m guessing that means you’ll be able to see it.

    These will take the email input field and the button to the same colors as are on the search box button (non-hover and hover).

    div.gform_footer input.button, submit, .enews #subbutton, .reply a, .reply a:visited, .searchsubmit, .widget_blog_subscription input, #submit {
    background-color: #7DB4B9;
    border: 1px solid #7DB4B9;
    div.gform_footer input.button:hover, submit:hover, .enews #subbutton:hover, .reply a:hover, .searchsubmit:hover, .widget_blog_subscription input:hover, #submit:hover {
    background-color: #539CA2;
    border: 1px solid #539CA2;

    If you want the email input field to be white like the search box, let me know and I can figure out how to separate that out from the above.

    The code worked like a charm! And yes, I’d love to know how to make the box white. I’m guessing I can set it back to private. If you need it open again, let me know. Thanks so much!

    I’ve got it up in Firefox Firebug right now so as long as I don’t refresh I can still work on it. I’ll post the code changes shortly.

    This changes it to white with the light grey border.

    input#subscribe-field {
    background: #ffffff;
    border: 1px solid #DDDDDD;

    Perfect!!! Thank you so so much! It was truly making me crazy. I appreciate such a quick and accurate response – I’ll definitely be giving you a “hug”!! Good night :)

    You are welcome and thanks for the hug!
