Change Image Size in Posts

  1. Hello! I'm using the Manifest theme, and I'm basing this blog on photography so I want to be able to enlarge my photos on my posts. I've used Tumblr's customizing settings before, but not WordPress, so I'm still clueless about this form of CSS editing. I want the photos to reach almost to the entire post window.

An example of an image post should be here: http://katperture.wordpress.com/2014/05/28/precision-2/

The blog I need help with is katperture.wordpress.com.

  2. You can try increasing the content width in your dashboard, under Appearance > Customize > CSS:

    The default width is 500px.

  3. Hi - can you just tell me please - when you say the default width is 500px does that mean that the Manifest theme will automatically re-size your photos to that width or should I resize them manually before uploading ? - thanks

  4. does that mean that the Manifest theme will automatically re-size your photos to that width

Larger images will be automatically resized to that width - no need to upload at exactly that width.

  5. Ok, great! many thanks
