By default all posts and pages are given a specific margin and padding settings, this is also the case for a good portion of other text oriented tags, such paragraphs (p), main headings (h1), etc.
You can often manipulate this spacing by using different tags for your content that have less or no spacing but unfortunately with this particular section the only way to manipulate this spacing is through the use of Custom CSS, a feature only available to Premium and Business plan holders.
