Change text color on comments in Chateau theme

  1. Hi,

I have set up this blog with a green background and selected white text for posts, but I note that all comments appear in black text which is illegible with the background. I have been unable to find how I change the comment text color to white as well, is this possible? Any assistance you could offer is greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

  4. Same problem here. My titles and comments look really strange...

  5. These are 3 ways to change fonts on blogs.

    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML editor.

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor.

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.

Note: Any font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, post titles, page titles, categories and tags, widget headings, and links cannot be done without CSS editing.

  7. Also I dont have the Custom Design Upgrade for this blog- The basic blog settings allowed me to have white text but the comments only appear in black text which is illegible. I had thought as it was a permissible change for the general post writing it would not be necessary to have the CSS editing- but there appears to be no other colour for comments but black. If that is the case I can change the design of the blog in any event!

    Kind Regards,

  8. You will require a custom design upgrade to change the font color on comments.
