I want to change the image in the header, but it doesn’t work!
I download the new picture, I send it and I crop it. Then I have a message : “It’s OK, you can go in your site, the picture is changed.”
    But it didn’t work…
    Can someone help me?

The blog I need help with is

Can you try re-sizing the image in an image-editing program so that its width is equal to that of your theme’s header area and upload it again?

It works!! thank you very much!

I’ve got a header question too…not sure how to get the text breaks out of the title and description in my header. I want them to go all the way across the banner, rather than across two lines like they are now.

Under #hode change the width to 670px.

How do i download a new image to go in the header specifically the ‘connections’ theme. I assume it involves some CSS tinkering.

The site linked to your username is not a blog. If you are talking about a blog, please provide us with a link.

@bigcatgroup: No. You just create a 741×142 px jpg or png or gif, click Custom Header, and upload it.

If you’ve got the CSS upgrade, you must first upload the image to your blog’s Media Library; then you get its URL and paste it in the appropriate spot in the CSS.

do the same rules aply to the depo masthead theme regarding uploading an image file for the header?

See the other thread that you started. I answered you there.

    Can someone help please?!

The tagline on my header has moved down and is now suddenly over (muddled together) with “HOME and ABOUT”.

It was fine yesterday and I don’t understand what has gone wrong.
I basically wanted the Blog title on my Header and Tagline on the header as well. But somehow it has changed.

    Any advise?

@az75: There’s nothing wrong with your tagline. You’ve just zoomed in too much in your browser.

Also important, how do you get the text of the header out of there altogether? I don’t want to give any title to my blog (the title is in the picture), but I still want enough space for a picture.

Here is a simple question: How do I change my HEADER for a image?

    my link is:

I wanna change exactly the Header “Fome do Rato” for a picture I have in my HD. How do I I do That?

@fomedorato, you would need CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade.

Since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade, and few here in the forums with much CSS experience, you should figure that you are on your own. Before buying the upgrade, you can go to appearance > edit CSS and wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try out changes before you buy the upgrade.
