Changed email for subscriptions but still getting posts in old email box…
I changed my email addy, but I am still getting new posts from the blogs I follow in my old email box. How I fix this. I don’t want to get the same posts in two mailboxes. Please, help.
The blog I need help with is anissasadventures.wordpress.com.
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.
If that doesn’t work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.
Note: After the change you will receive an confirmation email. Please be sure to check your spam/junk mail filter in your email client, if you cannot locate it.

I checked both places. It is changed to the new address, but I am still getting subscriptions to the old.

Hi there, thanks for the email. It looks like you signed up to follow some blogs in the past using that email address, while you were logged out of your WordPress.com account. This explains why you’re still receiving email notifications for those blogs at that address, despite the fact that you’ve changed the email on your WordPress.com account.
I’ll send you a message by email shortly, with a special link where you can change your subscription settings for this email address.
Followed the link, and I hit the settings link, but it is not letting change the email addy. :(
What happens when you try to change the address? Do you get an error message – if so, what does it say?
If you let me know the address you’d like it changed to, I’d be glad to try from this end.
It just doesn’t give me a link to change the email, that or I am just not seeing it. :(
Ah, I think I know what’s happening. If you view this page in the same browser where you’re already logged in, you won’t see the email field.
Could you please try viewing it either in a browser where you’re not logged in, or log out of your WordPress.com account and try again? Thanks!
