Changed URL now need to change it back

    I want to change my Blog address back to as we have already distributed material with that address on it (which I didn’t realise before changing the address to our current one). However, when I try to change it back, I’m informed that “this website already exists”… but it doesn’t! If you try go to it, a message pops up saying that the “authors have deleted the page”. I am the author, so can I not ‘un-delete’ the page and have it as my URL again? Thanks!

    You cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

    To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.

    You can register another blog

    Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying address is when you are domain mapping.
