Changing a domain name, redirecting old content

    Hi all!

I’d like to rename my blog, complete with a new domain name. However, I’d also like to make sure that if someone types in my old address or links to old posts, it will redirect them at the new address. So, if they go to http://www.wesothrifty.com/aboutme, for example, it will automatically take them to http://www.newblogname.com/aboutme. What’s the best/easiest way to achieve this?

I currently have a custom upgrade on a WordPress.com blog. Originally, I bought my old domain name from hostgator and mapped it. Should I do that again? Should I just buy it from WordPress right from the start? Will the redirect be tricky to set up? Thanks in advance!

The blog I need help with is wesothrifty.com.
