    I am using Twenty-Ten and wondering if there is any way to change the color of the Title/Headline of just one post? I want it to stand out like a “Bulletin” for a weather related closing headline. We do have WordPress.com Premium. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you might be able to provide.

    The blog I need help with is stfrancisbluehillme.wordpress.com.

    I am unsure what you meant by “stand out like a “Bulletin” for a weather related closing headline.”

    But the following style changes the title color of “Look here to see if Church is Cancelled Because of Weather” post to green.

    #post-472 .entry-title a {
    color: green;
    }

    I will be able to help you better if you could elaborate which color do you want , for which post and any other changes you wish :-)

    Thank you chaitanyamsv, What I wish to do is have just the headline or title of this particular post stand out with red letters. Just the one headline, not all headlines. It would be posted only if Church is cancelled and taken down later that day.
    Being a newbie I am not sure where I should post the style change you you suggest:
    #post-472 .entry-title a {
    color: green;
    }
    I have tried it in both the visual and text view of Edit Post and it does nothing to the color and the code displays in the headline. I am beginning to think the Twenty Ten theme is not letting me do this. timethief wants me to move this to the CSS forum.

    Voila! Thank you chaitanyamsv, I finally figured out the CSS editing and added your style change inserting red instead of green.
    #post-472 .entry-title a {
    color: red;
    }

    And it worked

    Well done :-)

    One thing to be aware is this CSS applies the style based on the post id – #post-472. So this style will no longer work if you ever delete the post and create another one. But you will be as long as you only edit it.
