    I changed the colour of the header on my site and and have been trying to change the colour of the menu tabs on the top to match through Custom Design. However although it shows I’ve done this in preview when I go to the site not only has the colour not changed but the lines around the menu tabs have gone out of alignment. I’ve changed them back to the original for the time being while I try to sort out the problem. Any advice much appreciated.

    The blog I need help with is londontheatrevisits.com.

    I reviewed your site and found that you were able to change the color of the menu tabs in the Digg 3 Column theme with the following CSS:

    #menu ul li {
    background:url('http://patsytrench.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/bg_tab_right2.gif') no-repeat right top;
    }

    #menu ul li a {
    background:url('http://patsytrench.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/bg_tab_left2.gif') no-repeat left top;
    color:#fff;
    }

    #menu ul ul a {
    background:#e78981;
    width:150px;
    }

    Nice work!

    Thanks very much for your response. Unfortunately however I am not very techy and don’t understand html or CSS. Could you give me a bit more guidance as to what precisely I need to do?

    Thanks again.
