Note that the site title (blog name) and blog address URL do not have to be the same. The Site title (blog name) and/or the optional Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General
    “save changes”
That is exactly where search engine spiders look for the site title and removing it from there can cause issues with getting your content indexed.

You cannot edit any URL. If you want to change the blog address ie. the URL starting with http:// then post again and clearly state which URL you want to replace the http://chandlerjade.com/ URL with.

    Hi timethief,

Thank you very much for your timely (hehe get it?) response!

I have already changed my Site Title name, but now I want the Url to be changed to reflect the changes. I have been going by my first and middle name but now I would like to go by first and last name.

I would like to change my website url from: http://www.chandlerjade.com to http://www.chandlerrabens.com or maybe http://www.chandler-rabens.com

Does it make sense what I am trying to do?

    Hi there,

When you register a domain, you are purchasing that exact domain name to use with your site. You currently have the domain name chandlerjade.com registered.

You’re welcome to register a new domain if you want to start using a different custom domain with your site. You can have multiple custom domains on your site, no problem. :) The URL visitors see when they visit your site will be the primary domain you set under Store > Domains in your dashboard.

We have instructions for how to register a new domain here: Register a New Domain

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

    Hi

im trying to set my blog up for a new domain I bought. But I’m not allowed to change the nameservers at my host the way I’m told to do it:

“Your nameservers need to be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for these DNS records to work. If you have already updated the nameservers you can ignore this message; it will stop appearing soon.”

My host tells me I should ask WordPress support for an alternative way to set up the domain. I really hope you can help!
