Changing Featured Post

I’m a newbie, and google isn’t being any help at all. How do I choose what post I want to be featured on my homepage? It’s currently set to my first post and I’d like that to change. The support page said there would be a “Customizer’s Featured Content panel” under Design -> Customize, and that I could use it to set a Feature Content tag (which I don’t exactly understand either, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there).

So, how can I go about changing my Featured Content?

The blog I need help with is calmandcalamity.health.blog.

    Hi,

The post displayed at the top of your homepage is marked “Featured.” On the Stow theme that means that its a sticky post. To “unsticky” it, just uncheck the box labeled “Stick to the Front Post” shown in the illustration in the Sticky Posts section of the Post & Page Visibility support page, and then update the page. If you don’t mark another post sticky, then the most recent post will display at the top.

Some themes have featured content areas, which can be populated by applying a featured tag specified in the Customizer. Your site presently has the Stow theme applied, and Stow doesn’t offer a featured content area, so there is no featured content panel at Customize for that theme.
