Changing font colors in Bold Life

  1. Hello! I am attempting adjust the Red and Grey colors in the Bold Life Theme, specifically the main page title, the sub-main title, and the widget headings. There isn't an option to do this in the fonts custom design section, and I can't figure it out in CSS.

    My working site is

    Any ideas??

    Thanks so much!!

    The blog I need help with is

  2. Site title

    h1.logo a, h1.logo a:visited, h1.logo a:hover {
    color: #DA0A0A;

    Site description

    h3.description {
    color: #909090;

    Widget titles

    #sidebar h2, #sidebar h3 {
    color: #909090;

    Facebook widget title (its a link)

    h2.widgettitle a {
    color: #DA0A0A;
  3. Thank you!!! That's perfect!

  4. You are welcome.

    I have a similar problem - I want to change the green title, sub title and widgets on Misty Look to dark blue - can you please help me?
    my blog address is

    thank you very much.

  6. This thread isnt' about MistyLook. Start a new thread on the MistyLook issue and put it in the CSS support forums.

  7. Hello! One more question in regards to Bold Life for

    I can't find an option to hide the title of the blog, as I also put it in the header image.

    If it doesn't exist, I changed the Header color to transparent and made it as small as possible, but there is still a huge space between the menu bar at the top and the header.

    Is there a way to delete this space in CSS?

    Thank you so much in advance!

  8. Add this to your CSS to get rid of the title. The header image will shift up to recover that space.

    .logo, .description {
    display: none;
  9. Thanks you thank you! That worked perfectly!

    Another question :)

    Can I get the main text box to be larger to flush with (or closer to) the header image??

  10. Okay, this opened up a new array of possibilities! (sorry so many questions)...

    in addition to previous question about flushing the text box, I would love to do the same to the top menu.

    Also, I would like to make the top menu larger.

  11. This is set to target only static pages. Post pages, if you end up having a "blog" and doing posts would not be changed from the original layout. I've also kept 8px of padding on the left to balance the 8px of padding on the right side of the sidebar.

    .page .page-entry-wrapper {
    padding-left: 8px;
    width: 700px;

    To move the header up closer to the menu, add the following and play with the 24px value.

    #nav, {
    margin-bottom: 24px;

    To change the margin between the header and the stuff in the content area, add this and play with the 24px value. (Personally I think the original spacing is quite nice here).

    #header-image {
    margin-bottom: 24px;
  12. On the site, how can I make the top menu items larger in CSS? thanks again for all your help!

  13. Adjust the 100% font size value as desired.

    #nav a, a {
    font-size: 100%;

    This controls the how far the menu itself is shifted to the right. If you need to or want to reduce and move it further to the left, then adjust the 120px value in the following.

    #nav, {
    padding-left: 120px;
  14. You've been amazing so far!!

    Is there a way to remove/stop the drop down menu under "Meet the Community"?

  15. Create a custom menu and that puts you in complete control of what is shown where in the menu.

    If you already have a custom menu, then just edit it and put those items wherever you want them.
