Changing the colour of the title in the header picture.

    I am using the Gateway theme.
    Any idea how to change to colour of the title in the (header) picture? The options on the left site can´t help me. You just can change the font and the background colour of the website.

    The blog I need help with is

    Hi –

    Editing the color of the font, Christin and the Queens , can be done through CSS modification. That’s not included on a free site, though. You’d need the premium plan in order to add the following CSS.

    .site-title a, .site-description {
        color: #ffffff;

    You’d need to insert the hex color code of choice. What I’ve shared is directly from the theme CSS and #fffff is the white font you see now.

    It’s probably not worth upgrading for this one feature though. A better option might be to find a different header image which would allow the font to pop better.

    Thank you, this helped resolve my problem with the font color. I needed to move this scripting to the bottom CSS editor so it wouldn’t affect the custom footer color I selected.
