Changing title in web browser tab

  1. Is there a way (or a widget or something) to change the text in the web browser tab, so that it is different from the title of your blog? Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is trampsintransition.com.

  2. No. That would be a deceptive linking practice.

  3. The reason I ask is that the title of our blog is "Tramps in Transition", but because we wanted a line break in our title (in order to make it two separate lines), we made our site title in the customization dashboard simply "Tramps", and added "in Transition" through a CSS code. Thus, the browser tab now simply reads "Tramps", which we don't want for obvious reasons.

    Is there a way to avoid this? I realize my initial question was semi-misleading. Thanks.

  4. You could just set a width on the title:
    .site-title {width: 8em;}
    (adjust the width as necessary for your purposes)
    which would wrap the text. You'll end up with the in on the top line though.
    You could also replace the title with an image.
