I’m using the above template and have added a widget to Statcounter to monitor this blog and a couple of other sites I manage.
This blog I want to creates pages and keep a list of tags/categories visible to those that visit the site. However, in adding the Statcounter code via a widget the entire right panel disappears other than the Statcounter logo.
How can I incorporate all these things together? I want to create pages and have them visible.
Is your blog hosted at WordPress.com or independently hosted using WordPress software? The answer to your question depends on which of these it is. There’s a thread at the top of the forum that outlines the differences.

Hope this helps.
The reason the sidebar contents disappeared is that once you start messing with the sidebar, you wipe out the default arrangement of widgets. Just choose the ones you want and put them back; they’ll be in the widget box underneath the sidebar space on the Widget page. You will need the page widget, if you’re going to have pages, as well as the Category widget and perhaps the Tag cloud, too.
A word about pages vs posts: pages aren’t nearly as popular or easy to navigate as posts. And they do relatively little for your ranking in search engines.
You need widget page. For ranking you need proper keyword and search engine optimization.
My sidebar disappeared on my homepage but remains in its place for everything else. My sidebar on my home page is all the way at the bottom and I don’t know how to fix it. Any suggestions from anyone???
shadows, give us your blog address, so that we can have a look at your code.
