    thanks for all the help before. My blog is
    I have been reading the posts and trying to make changes to CSS to reduce the image size on my home page as I think it is too big.
    Can you please help me with the code to change the size. I did not realise that the CSS can be theme related and I was trying to copy some code provided for a different theme.
    Thanks for all the help in the past – always been great.,

    The blog I need help with is

    You can go to settings > media in your dashboard and then edit, say, the “large” size and then insert all your images as “large” rather than full-sized.

    Or do you want to narrow the entire posting area (text and images)?

    I just want to change the image size of my ‘home page image’. I have a custom header loaded of a lemon with lemon leaves and I feel it is too large and I would like to reduce it. I am unable to do so as it seems to revert to fill the space allowed for the header image. Many thanks

    Flexible headers is a new feature coming out soon in WordPress, and we’ll be converting any theme that it makes sense for to use that feature but Chateau isn’t converted yet. What you can do in the mean time is manually replace the custom header image using CSS:

    #main-image a img {
    	display: none;
    #main-image a {
    	display: block;
    	background: url( no-repeat;
    	width: 960px;
    	height: 100px;

    Change the url() value to an image link from your media library. Change the width value to the width of your image. Change the height value to the height of your image.
