    Hi all

My blog is http://www.fusion5photography.com and i think it’s a ‘freshy theme’?

Ive created a parent page named ‘Commercial Gallery’ and a child page named ‘Deniliquin Tourism’. Id like the parent page to show on the top menu bar, with the child page showing as a scroll down option from the parent page.

Ive done some reading from previous posts but I cant work it out, but now im worried that this function is not possible with this theme?

Is it possible to transfer all my current posts, info etc to another theme that will display child pages as a scroll down option, or do I have to start from scratch? Would i need to delete this existing blog in order to keep the blog name?

    Lots of questions, sorry!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

The blog I need help with is fusion5photography.wordpress.com.

All themes designers are creative people who choose which features to include or not. I’m sorry but The theme you chose does not have this feature coded into the template underlying the theme. Therefore if you want this feature you will have to switch themes. Currently, the iNove, Inuit Types, Monochrome, Neutra, Sandbox 1.6.1, Twenty Ten, and Titan themes are the only ones that have dropdowns to child pages from parent pages in the top horizontal menu.

It’s easy to change themes but first so this. > Appearance > Widgets drag and drop all special text widgets you have created from the sidebar box and drop them into the “Inactive Widgets” box.

Now select a new theme by previewing the ones with the features and clicking “Activate” on the one you want to use. > Appearance > Themes.

Every time you activate a new theme there will be a front page default sidebar display of widgets. When you personally select all the widgets you want here again > Appearance > Widgets and place them in the sidebar box(es), and also replace the text widgets you placed in the Inactive Widgets box in the sidebar box(es) your choices will over-ride the default display. It’s quicker and easier than it sounds.:)

I am SOOOOOO glad all the new themes have dropdowns to child pages. This was so long overdue.

Yes, it’s good to see long awaited theme features rolling out. We also have some new themes that background colors and images can be used in. Things are looking up. :)
