  1. I have a wordpress.com blog but need the additional capabilities of a self-hosted site and therefore want to transfer it

However until I learn the ropes of the self-hosted site I would like to keep the wordpress.com blog active and until it's ready the self-hosted site private

    1. Is it possible to run the two together. That is to copy, rather than export or transfer, all the data from the wordpress.com blog to the self-hosted site?

    2. If so when I posted to the wordpress.com blog, after copying all the data to the self-hosted site, would the simplest method be to cut and paste, to ensure the post was in the self-hosted site as well?

    3. Are there any instructions out there to help with this copying process from the wordpress.com blog to the self-hosted site?

The blog I need help with is beyondtheduero.com.

There is no automatic way to do this. You would need to copy/paste manually. However, it is important to note that exporting content does not erase it on your WordPress.com site.
