The first time I tried to comment on a WordPress blog and was confronted with the need to register, I didn’t even understand what that meant–so I exiting without commenting. Now this is happening to my friends who want to comment on my site. I need for anyone to be able to comment (without having to warn them not to enter an email address). I also want for them to be able to give an email address (without having to log in) so I can email them requesting a mailing address if they win a giveaway. I can’t tell you how important this is to me. Please reconsider the decision to make logging in a requirement for anyone who offers an email address.
