After importing from Blogspot.com I had all comments doubled in my articles list. We are talking about 3500 comments for 86 posts.

In Dashbaord I tried to filter the double comments, to no avail. I ended up deleting some 4000 comments and also 70 posts from my blog.

The plan is to reimport from my blogspot.com blog. Before I do so I want to make sure, that my wordpress blog is nice and tidy and everything aligned.

The Dashboard shows 4400 approved comments. The truth is, that only 300 have been left and all the rest is delted and does not show anywhere at all.

    My questions are:
How do I make sure, all those 4000 comments have really gone?
How do I reset the counter in the dashboard?
What is the best way to import from Blogspot.com? Should I import directly or should I use an xml export from Blogspot?

How do I protect my blog from showing all imported comments twice?

    Kind regards max

The blog I need help with is maxwort.wordpress.com.
