By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.
Unless you use the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme, know that the front pages of our blogs “showcase content” and comments are collapsed on that page.
You cannot change this. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress.
Thanks, timethief. However, and this is going to sound terrible, but I don’t understand a word you’re saying (assuming you’re human). Point is, for over 4 years readers were able to see a comment link at the bottom of each post. It’s no longer there. Why? How can I bring it back? This is abc stuff. Thanks, Hillel
Of course I’m a human being. There are no zombies answering questions here that I am aware of.
As I indicated above I do see a comment box on the bottom of your posts and your pages. If the comment boxes had not been on your post or page then I could not have left a comment on either of of them.
If your readers are not able to click the post titles and see the comment boxes then they must have a browser related issue.
Thanks for replying and for speaking English to me. However, both on my PC and my Laptop, the comment box you’re referring to, I don’t see it. Also, readers use to see it on home page, don’t necessarily know to click on the post title and find it there.
As well: I have a second blog with wordpress — http://www.hillelbridge.com — and there, very simply, the comment box or link are visible on both home page and post page. How come?
Thanks much, Hillel
Thanks for replying and for speaking English to me.
