Comments different on POSTs and PAGEs

    1) ‘Leave a reply’ occurs at the TOP of each POST
    2) ‘Comment?’ (my text, set in Discussion) appears at the BOTTOM of each PAGE

So how do I make the POSTS be the same as the PAGES?

I used Bulk Edit to turn comment and pings on for ALL posts and pages.
    I am using 2012 Theme.
    Thanks!

PS I made my own ‘Comment?” at the bottom of a POST, and linked it to the POST, so someone clicking on my ‘Comment?’ at least goes to the top without scrolling (awkward) to the ‘Leave a reply’ link. That works – but is ugly and awkward.

The blog I need help with is liebjabberings.wordpress.com.

You could use a theme that displays it the same way on both, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head. I’m sure there are some, however.

Thanks – it does seem a complicated process to go through the Themes one by one to see how they handle this – and I may end up having to do that.

I’m worried that something else I like about 2012 will then disappear.

    a) You are comparing a single static page with the front page view of all the latest posts. If you compare with the single post view, you’ll see that they are the same.

    b) The link you started adding will be more useful if it links to the comment field instead of the beginning of the post. For example, instead of using this URL for the link:
    http://liebjabberings.wordpress.com/2013/02/19/added-prides-children-scene-1-1-2/
    use this URL:
    http://liebjabberings.wordpress.com/2013/02/19/added-prides-children-scene-1-1-2/#respond

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I need – I just didn’t know how to do it.

As for the single post view – I’m new enough that it never occurred to me to check it. Thanks again.
