I’m curious what would make a comment go to my spam folder -this happened twice. I’m pretty sure (though not positive) that the test comment sent today from timethief didn’t go to spam, but don’t quote me on that.) They have to be approved first. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is gigisanchez.wordpress.com.

I just left you a second comment. Please find it and mark it “trash” as opposed to marking it “spam”. Thanks, in advance. :)

They automatically go to Spam if they contain too many links; you can edit that on your Settings->Discussion page. Or if they contain the word “Viagra” and a few others.

Timethief, your first one went to trash (permanently deleted) and so did your second. I would never spam you! Raincoaster, that makes sense because they put two links in there. Not for viagra, though, but that’s funny that viagra gets spammed. Thanks-

When stuff gets thrown into your spam folder, it may have embedded links that you can’t see. If you click “quick edit,” it will show embedded links.

Today, I have a comment in my spam folder that just says, “Great post.” Although such an ambiguous post may be highly suspect as spam, I am not sure why it did end up in the folder. There appear to be no links. Still, I am not going to post it. When in doubt, delete.
