Comments sent to two emails

    When I first signed up with, I set the validation email to be sent to my Hotmail acc. Since then, I’ve set my comments and all other email-related enquiries (if any) to be sent to my Gmail whenever I get a comment, including if it’s a moderated comment. However, for some reason, I’ve had comments being rerouted to my Hotmail from time to time. Most of the time it’s spam comments (as in the content is spam but they’re recognised by Akismet as valid).

    Is there a way I can change all my comments to be sent to gmail only and no more to Hotmail? Thanks!

    Look in your dashboard under Users. Also check your WordPress profile (it’s in the blue bar at the top of the page, where it says, “Welcome — View your profile — log out”) and make sure your Gmail is in there as well.



    I had this happen as well shortly after joining Do what defrostindoors suggested, but if all that is correct (like mine was) then send in feedback to support on Monday morning when they open again for the week.

    I ended up sending a ticket into support and it was fixed in less than 15 minutes.




    I found out the reason why; the posts from my old blogger account was linked to my Hotmail. I’ll access that account once I get home. Thank you.
