Comments Vanishing once the Bar at the top loads after logging in.

  1. It appears when I submit a comment on a site running WordPress that is hosted by, it goes through and I allows me to login with my Account. But once that top WordPress bar appears and I try to comment, they just vanish into thin air. I checked with the blog owner and he stated none of my comments are going into the moderation queue, etc, so I believe you guys have a very serious issue on your end when users are making comments. I've reproduced this in Chrome and Firefox. If I clear all my cookies and cache, log out, it allows me to comment again but once that bar shows up, game over.

This is not happening on my blog but on

The blog I need help with is

  2. I've also tried to follow up with another comment when the first doesn't show up (copy and paste original comment attempt) and have the system tell me "Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!"

But it's not a duplicate since it doesn't show up in the comments. Sigh!

  3. Anyone anyone? I re-installed my entire system with new OS and HDD and this problem still persists. The strange thing is, under my drewbentley wordpress login at work, it works without issues.

  4. You may be classified as spam: if you can comment on other blogs with no problem, however, this is not the case. If you can't comment on ANY blogs, you're probably reported as spam and you need to contact Akismet.

If you include 4 or more links in your comment, it is automatically sent to moderation.

  5. Other sites are fine and like I said, it works from other computers from same network.

  6. No links and the site owner says I do not show up in his spam or moderation queue's as well.

  7. What browser and version are you using?

  8. Chrome, the latest and greatest. Version 37.0.2062.94 (64-bit)

I use the same version at work without issue.

  9. Same with Firefox latest as well.
