Double posting to LinkedIn timeline — LinkedIn engineers worked on the problem — turning on and off apps etc regarding link to blog WordPress — but nothing has worked. Beginning a few weeks ago, each post is posted twice on my LinkedIn timeline. Their last email: LinkedIn Customer Support Message copied below:
“Subject: blog post to timeline have errors
I’m so sorry that this is still happening. At this point, since it would not be beneficial for you to revoke access to the 3rd party WordPress app or the external website, I’d recommend reaching out directly to WordPress, and checking with their technical support team. They can be reached here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .
I can send you a screen shot if you like. I don’t want to turn off the connection to LinkedIn so….what is happening that it is now posting twice for every post?
