Connection usually drops!

  1. OK, my problem is strange and I do not know if other bloggers have encountered it. I have noticed each time I am on my blog, when I open some pages through different tabs or when making adjustments on my dashboard, my internet connection drops.

    I get this in different browsers, even I cleared cookies, history, cache etc...

    Why? Thank!

  2. Will you please provide some specifics so we can determine what's causing your issue?

    If you are using IE9 and running it in compatibility mode then know that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported.

    (1) How are are connecting to the internet and to

    I'm asking because the way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Also note that the main dashboard isn’t designed to work with touch devices through the tablet and smartphone browsers.

    (2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > and post the results here please.

    (3) Have you tried?
    clearing your browser cache and cookies >
    using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
    updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version)
    using another browser

    (4) Are you logging in using the secure https:// log-in? see

  3. My browsers are all updated to latest versions. Moreover, yes, I am using protected connection: HTTPS, I mean it is secured each time I go to dashboard. I cleaned my cookies, cache, etc...still the same.

  5. Im connecting from a PC. The browsers I tried are Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

    We are aware of some intermittent, network-related issues that some users have been experiencing over the last several days. When did this problem begin for you?

    Further, have you tried using another computer or Internet connection (perhaps a friend's, or one at a coffee shop or library)?


  11. Hello, yes, I have tried other computer. It is the same. If I am doing many tasks simultaneously on WordPress, the connection drops after 2 minutes. This problem is affecting me since last year.
