Consistent problems loading site

  1. consistent problems loading the site
    It's very frustrating, if I attempt to go to the dashboard more often than not I get a blank re-load page, I have to go through a maze to get in, then if I try to make updates the same thing happens ... also if I type in to get to the sign in page I have the same problem, I have to google and get in that way ... and then still encounter the above problems .... Help please ... what do you suggest!?

  2. I am having a similar issue. I cannot get Reader, Stats, or Freshly Pressed pages to load. Basically I log in to a blank page. This has been a recurrent problems for a few weeks at least and seemed to be getting worse. At the moment, no amount of reloading or logging out and back in is resolving it.
    Without reader I can't interact with other members without going through my email.
    What can I do to fix this?

  4. I am located in Ontario, Canada not the UK and the problem is not with my dashboard/ability to access my blog it's the pages like reader and stats that have been intermittent.

  5. When I go to my Stats page, the browser tab says that the page had "finished" loading but the graph and each of the widgets will still have a spinning wheel. Is this the same problem you're running into or will yours not load at all?

  6. Sometimes it's the spinning wheel sometimes the wheel disappears but the page is still blank. The problem is intermittent. Sometimes everything is fine other times I can't get anything to load.

    I'm with raincoaster as it sounds like you have a browser related issue to me. Please work through what follows and report back.

    1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at please try upgrading or switching first.

    2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode.

    3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at

    (a) Try clearing your browser’s cache

    If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:

    (b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled

    (c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.

    (d) Try enabling HTTPS:

    Add both * and * to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.”

    4. Try using another browser.

    5. If you are not successful let us know:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary
    (c) And what any error reports you receive state.

  9. Thanks timethief and raincoaster. I use Comodo Dragon (cousin to Chrome) I've tried 3. c&d. Things seem to be working for now. Hopefully, it will stay that way.
