Contact Form limit text

    Is there a way to limit the number of words or characters in a textarea field using Contact Form? I’ve been getting feedback entries with a contact form I added to a page, and a few of them are several thousand words long and gibberish. Limiting text or characters would be great, if it can be done, or if it can be added in the next update.

    Also, I noticed with the Contact Form creator that after I add 4 fields, any additional fields don’t drag ‘n drop reorder properly. They get stuck to each other.

    Hi there,
    We provide support only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. That site is not one of them and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
