Content Control (or un-control) Help

We are not an X-rated site, but as a news site we often write about sexual themes in the news. One of our titles for example was “Guantanamo Sex Torture”, another “Topless Protests by Femen in Tunisia”. The original title for the first one was “Sexual Favors at Gitmo”. I noticed when we changed it, it disappeared from the the feed (although it could still be found). Our site is “G” rated. A couple of questions 1) Where are the content filters in dashboard (or do we have to manually change code somewhere) so we have better control (no third party authors, only us) 2) Anyone have any ideas regarding search engines on this topic?
