Content Disappearing and/or centring
I use WP to publish my radio show playlists. After editing my 1 March show playlist yesterday (to correct two spelling errors) I noticed that most of the tracklist then disappeared as soon as I pressed Update, leaving only a record label image and the closing few lines.
Then I spotted that all my previous playlists were now showing as centred down the middle of the front page. Previously everything was left-justified. And the widget boxes are now onn the bottom left, inside of on the right.
I typed up my 8 March showlist and it appears to have vanished completely! My site is: jocknroll.wordpress.com
Any explanation for these issues?
The blog I need help with is jocknroll.wordpress.com.
If you have been copying and pasting from elsewhere without using either icon 5 or icon 6 in Row 2 of the visual editor this can be the result, or it can also be a result of importing text containing invalid HTML, or entering invalid HTML into a text widget.
Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”
Starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.
I tend to copy and paste the previous post and use that as a template for the new one.
Restoring to a previous version, amending and then pressing Update doesn’t work either.
Nothing is working.
And I don’t understand why everything on the front page is down the middle now. Very frustrating.
I’ve completely retyped the playlist for 1 March and 8 March and the issue has corrected itself! Go figure.
