Content width on Espied
I’m testing the Espied theme with the new portfolio feature. In the documentation says that pictures bigger than 1272px wide will be displayed full size.
Is there a way to do the same but with pictures just 900px wide?
If not, what CSS code do I need to change the portfolio content width to 900px?
Thanks in advance,
The blog I need help with is longdelayspossible.com.
Omar, to enlarge a 900px wide image out to, say 1200px would result in a noticeable reduction in image quality. With Espied, it is always best to use images that are at least as wide as 1272px so that quality will be preserved. From what I can see, if you use a 900px wide image, then it is shown at 900px in width.
I wasn’t meaning to rescale my 900px pictures to 1200px. I understand that could affect the image quality.
I was talking about one feature the Espied theme has that is pictures bigger than 1272px will be show full size, not 552px that is the normal main column size in this theme.
I was wondering if that specific 1272px size was something that could be changed to 900px.
The theme’s author just told me that it’s impossible via CSS to change that behaviour.
What I might do is re export my pictures to the specific size this theme needs, I think.
Omar, sorry for my confusion and glad the theme author was able to verify things for you.
