controlling the archive

    Is there anyway to control how many months are displayed in the archives widget?
    I know there’s a drop down option, but it’s not very pretty. The theme I use is Hemingway.
    I only want the last few months to show, rather then 11. Which is btw the total amount of months I’ve had a blog, so I can’t help but worry that it’s just going to get longer and longer until it runs out of space…
    This wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t for the fact that I also want a traffic feed, which takes up space as well. So if my archives widget would display 5 months instead of 11 then I could fit my traffic feed. As it is now my traffic feed can only show one person at the time.
    Can it be done?

    Actually, it seems the archives widget adapts…but I still want to know if can set a limit.
