Copying my WordPress website

I have a website that I would like to redesign. However, I would like to start tinkering on a test site, or a non functioning “mirror” blog so that the existing site stays operational and familiar for its users. I have tried creating a new site through wordpress, exporting, and importing the old site’s information, posts, pages, etc. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to migrate my add ons and plug ins over as well. In fact, this site does not even seem to support plug ins. How can I create a (free) site for this purpose?

The website is not actually the one listed below. It is Lapdbluelife.com. The account that manages that (and other sites) is shared, hence my posting from this account.

The blog I need help with is thebreakfastclubbers.wordpress.com.

You can’t do that here – you can not use Plugin’s or other addin’s – you have no FTP access here also – security reasons
