Coupon Drop Down

    In the past several days I have noticed some thing that has seemed to taken over my blog. Coupon Drop Down. I have banners above the name of my blog and words with in my articles have been highlighted and the words have coupondropdown ads attached to the high lighted words. Very distracting and I counter productive to what I want to present through the articles that I write.

    This occurrence is like I am being spammed and attacked by malware to advertise at the distraction of what I want to accomplish through Second Chance to Live.

    Is there a way that I can put a keep coupon drop down from attaching itself and appearing on my web log Second Chance to Live?

    Sure. Clean the contaminated element from your browser or computer. You have a rogue add-on, toolbar, extension or some sort of Malware.

    I do not use / play games. Is there a way to quickly and simply eliminate coupondropdown?

    WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. If you are seeing those then that’s a browser-ad-on issue, or in some cases, it’s embedded into free games and/or toolbars downloaded from the internet. See here: Bloggers: Beware of Adware.

    You have enabled something on your browser that is doing this. A browser extension of some kind. On your browser’s Tools menu, you should see a listing for Extensions or Add-Ons. Click it and disable them all. Then you should not see this problem anymore. Once they are all disabled, you can re-enable them one by one and check your site every time. When you see the links and ads pop back up, you know that the very last extension you re-enabled is the cause, so delete it.

    Thank you Raincoaster. What you suggested. I followed and the Coupon Drop down and banners have disappeared. I disabled suspect extensions and Add-Ons — as you suggested — and the underlining of words with hover coupons and banner adds have disappeared from Second Chance to Live. Thank you your help in this matter my friend raincoaster!
