Create a Fixed Header on Multiple Pages on Twenty Eleven

    Hi wordpress.com community,

I am creating a website for my graduate program and was asked to put different pictures as the header image for each page. I know that Twenty Eleven has this capability because I saw it in the demo. However, I cannot find the option to do this anywhere on the dashboard or in the customization process.

I tried to add an image to a page that was 1000×288 pixels, yet that just created a big image post under the header. I know that I can randomize two images, but I would rather have fixed images for the homepage and the rest of the pages that I have created.

    Your input is greatly appreciated.

The blog I need help with is psmprogram.net.

    Thank you for the response.

I’ve seen that post already, but it does not give step-by-step instructions on how to have several fixed headers or make a featured image a header.

I would like detailed feedback on where I am supposed to go in the dashboard or customization areas – I do not see any option that lets me choose a specific header for a specific page.

I appreciate any input pertaining to this request.

Right above this link in the same support doc section http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#featured-header-images you find this http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

If you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options.

P.S. As you are assigned to do this for your college work I will not do your work for you.
