I’ve been trying to create internal and external links from content in my blog to other content. I know how to create links and have done it many times successfully. It seems to work just fine when I am working from my desktop computer. However, I can’t ever get it to work from my laptop computer. So I’m wondering if there’ s a problem with my settings on my laptop? Please help me!!!
The blog I need help with is aliposner.wordpress.com.
What kind of laptop is it?
What is the operating system on it?
Which browser and version of it are you running on it?
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance because I do not know how to help you. Another Volunteer may answer prior to Staff but I tagged the thread so it will not fall through the cracks and escape attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
Please let us know what operating system and web browser (including the version number) you’re using on your laptop. You can find those here if you’re not sure: http://supportdetails.com/
Also, do you have any browser extensions or add-ons on your laptop?
I’m sorry for the delayed reply — I am out of the country with minimal internet access. Am still trying to blog though, with no success with the links. My laptop operating system is Macintosh OS X 10.6.8, and Web Browser is Safari 5.0.5.
THanks, I’d really appreciate your help!
The very first thing that I would recommend would be that you update your browser or try another browser which is updated to the most recent version. Not only do we design WordPress.com around the most recent releases of browsers, but there are also frequently major security holes which are closed with each release.
You can visit the site BrowseHappy to get the most updated browser of your choice. We generally recommend either Firefox or Chrome.
