Creating Page for Blog Posts

  1. Hi, I am trying to create a separate page where readers can click individual blog posts. This will lead to a separate page for the post. I'd like to have a featured image for each blog post also. Currently, all my blog posts are on a single page with the most recent at the top. How can I do this?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is natsukashithoughts.wordpress.com.

  2. Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/cubic that's where set up instructions for it and the live demo site link is found.

All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/ where we have a search box as the most prominent feature on the page.

This is a one or the other situation. You have two choices on any blog
    (1) All posts on the front page.
    (2) Or a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page. In that case you can create a Page for the Home page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page first and create one for your Posts then designate a static front page.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the site go to

    http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php to make the designation.

    * You will, of course, have to replace NAME_OF_BLOG with your own site's name in that URL.

  3. re: Cubic https://wordpress.com/theme/cubic
Featured Images are 2000 wide by 1500 high.

If featured image isn’t set, display colored block on blog page

If your post doesn’t have a featured image but does include images, Cubic will display the first image attached to the post. If you prefer only featured images to be displayed, check the box.

The relevant support doc is at https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
