Creating test blog?
-
I would like to switch themes, but need to play with them first to see which one is the best option. Yes, I know you can preview each one but it’s not a perfect system and not everything shows up in the preview – but might with further tweaking once you select that theme. So can someone please tell me how to create a test blog? I found some google explanations about downloading things to your pc – but I have a mac and anyway that process sounds very complex. I’m rather technology challenged. Or – is it possible to hide my current blog while I change things around? Thanks for your help and remember, please explain it to me like I’m 5, LOL.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just create a test blog on your account here and then play with the themes and such there. From the “my blog” pulldown in the grey admin bar, select “register a new blog” and create one to use for testing. would recommend setting the test blog to “private” at settings > privacy so that it is not public and then you can play with themes and such all you want.

You can also Export / Import and move a copy of your content to you test site then you can see how things will work with your content.
