A reader saw a crude ad at the end of my blog post. I want to keep my blog family friendly, and it upsets me that one of my readers was offended by the ad you ran.

To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements, and the agreement for this has been in our terms of service since 2006.

We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

However, our ads are family friendly, so would you be able to send us a screenshot of what this user saw?

Some users are reporting that infected browser add-ons are inject some rather adult-oriented ads into ever page they view.

A reader saw a crude ad at the end of my blog post.

What was the ad, or did the reader tell you? There was one a few days ago featuring a mainstream, award winning actress selling water that seemed to bother a few people.
