css bug?

  1. Hi,

    I suspect there is a bug in CSS in origin theme (if it is at all possible?)

    I am playing with this code:
    #site-description {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #E5E5E5;
    border-top: 1px solid #444444;

    I can do anything I want to the border-top.
    Border-bottom is however immune to every single thing I write. Strange thing is playing with the code in fire-bug lets me do anything I want.

    What could be the problem?

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is

  2. Could you try to use the code below instead. Feel free to adjust the code like you want :)

    .wf-active #site-description {
    font-style: normal;
    font-variant: normal;
    font-weight: 400;
    font-family: raleway-1, raleway-2, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #E5E5E5;
    border-top: 1px solid #444444;
  3. This is great! Thank you so much!

  4. Sorry just one more itch - I cannot change the color of the font of the site description. I tried adding color code into the code you have sent me - still no luck.

    Is there a css rule I do not know about?

    Thank you!

  5. I've just added the correct code to your CSS.

    Cheers :)

  6. thank you. unfortunately this is exactly the code I tried myself and that is not working for some reason. I have set the code into:

    #site-description {
    color: #000000;

    and the font color is still pale grey.

    What could be the problem?

  7. I actually see it as black now, exactly as you set it.

    Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

  8. Strange. I see it as grey - in IE, MF and GCh. I see it in black when I am in customize mode though. Perhaps you are in this mode?

  9. The font is black but the font-weight is so small that it makes the tagline look grey. Try to change the font-weight to 600 or 800.

  10. I tried this before - no luck. Still I've changed it now to 800 - the result is exactly the same - no change whatsoever :( Also when I am in CSS mode I do not see the site description as it is normally - the color and font are different.

  11. For some reason the site description has changed itself out of its own accord few minutes ago. The problem is gone as the font does not look good and I have simply abandoned it :)

    thank you for all your help!

  12. Sorry for nagging you again - I just noticed I cannot contact staff anymore and this is my only option. All I can do is ask a question in a forum. What has happened?

  13. It looks as if I have lost my premium status as there is a button suggesting to "go premium". But I did go premium. Could you do sth about it please?

  14. I've just cleaned up your code a bit and it seems to work now. Could you please take another look?

    It looks as if I have lost my premium status as there is a button suggesting to "go premium". But I did go premium. Could you do sth about it please?

    I can confirm that you already have the premium upgrade. Can you please try clearing out your browser cache?

  15. Thank you. I did as you said. No luck. Can I do anything else?

  16. Do you see the Premium Upgrade listed at: ?

    Otherwise please send us a screenshot of the page where you're seeing this Go Premium button. You can upload the screenshot to your blog's media library.

  17. Thank you for looking into it.

    The link you gave me shows the premium account correctly. Still, when I want to contact staff and click "contact support" all I get is the forum aid. I have enclosed the screenshot in the library (contact support).

  18. Thanks for the screenshot, we'll look into it.

    It's possible that you might not get all contact options because support is closed at the moment. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 30th. You can contact us through this e-mail address if you prefer private e-mail support.

  19. Thank you - it could be the reason.

    However I noticed that some of my coding is gone. For example - the entry titles should be changing into black when hovered upon. And the lines under and over the site description are the other way around. And I cannot change them yet again.

    I appreciate your help but I would rather have my old coding :)

  20. I've just fixed it for you. It seems there were still some wrong CSS entries regarding the post titles.

  21. Woohoo! That's just great! Thank you so much!

  22. Cheers :)
