I just purchased the css editing capabilities to change the theme Emire. i have not submitted any css changes yet, but when I look at my blog most the images have dissapeard such as th ebg stripes that are located in the style sheet. Also, is there no way to upload new images when you purchase CSS package?

to upload images, go to the Write panel of your dashboard, and use the upload form below the post section.

as for why your images dissapeared, i’m not sure. go to Presentation > Edit CSS, and make sure that the “Add to existing CSS (View stylesheet)” button is checked. if it is, and the images are still missing, send in feedback from your dashboard.

    Adam —

I have a quick CSS question for you. I tried to take the original CSS code for CUTLINE and then change that code to match the the extra improvements you gave me so I’d have one CSS file loading instead of my “code” overriding the original code.

It didn’t work. The changes I made to the original CSS seemed to break everything. Any idea what I did wrong or how to correct the mess?

Or is what I tried to do not possible?

Everything’s back to normal now. The changes you gave me still load in addition to the original CSS.

    david –

you should probably start another thread for that.

if you want to do that, you’ll need to copy cutline’s CSS to notepad (or something similar) and find and replace all the image url’s with their full addresses (something like http://boles.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/cutline/images/ ) instead of just images/ as they are now.

then you can add your own css stuff at the end of the file.

    Hi Adam!

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like a lot of work. I’ll just stay with what I have. It’s plenty fast enough and looks great thanks to you!

Adam, any chance you can help me? I have the dreaded header image disappearing problem as well and can’t seem to get it fixed. Here’s my thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=7854&replies=4
