CSS for column width and font (Vigilance Child Theme)

    Hi —

I just switched to the Vigilance Child Theme in the hopes of being able to customize some of my CSS. I’m a novice, but have been tinkering.

    Here’s my site: http://www.foodjunta.com

    I have two questions:

    1) How do I change the column width of both columns? I’d like them to both be narrower. I’d also like there to be a little space between the two of them.

    2) How do I change the font? I registered with TypeKit, but I don’t understand where to install the JavaScript (it says to put it in the <head> tag, and I can’t find it.)

Basically, I’d like my site to look like this site, but with more space between the two columns.

Can I do this through the Vigilance Child Theme? Or do I need the CSS upgrade?

The blog I need help with is foodjunta.wordpress.com.

http://foodjunta.com/ is a self-hosted wordpress blog and you need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
