If you’ve just purchased the CSS upgrade and are having trouble figuring out where to begin, I’ve put up a step by step tutorial in my blog. http://galefraney.wordpress.com/2007/05/13/getting-started-with-css-upgrade/

I struggled for several days trying to figure out how the darn thing worked, and although I visited the Forum, nothing seemed to answer my very basic questions. After a few days of reading and searching the internet, I finally figured out a few basics which might be useful for those who are just starting from scratch. I hope you find the link useful. :-)

    For reference:
An extensive listing of css resources can be found here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/08/15/where-can-i-find-css-customization-help/
And more help can be found in the 3 sticky posts at the head of the css customization forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum.php?id=3&page

galefraney: i read it and i can actually understand most of what you’re saying. it wasn’t too long, which is good, and it focuses on one thing at a time, which is very good for noobs. i have css upgrade but i daren’t tinkle with it – i use it for the different skins i can get via sandbox.

you should do more posts like this. =)

I have since revamped the “CSS step by step”. It should be more clear now. Now that I’ve figured out where and how to begin, and what can be done, I can take my time to figure out each CSS element. :-)
